Earlier in the week I showed you a “Hello” card made with a simple layout and an eye-catching technique. Today, I’m back with another card that shows how the same layout, technique and elements can be transformed into an elegant holiday greeting!

Supplies:
The basic elements of this card start out the same as the “hello” card – the background paper has the pearl paint stenciled over it. This time, for an elegant but festive touch (and to cover up a stenciling oops) I edged the paper in pearl paint. To create the holiday look, I simply replaced the pre-printed die cut on the “hello” card with a stamped sentiment from Ali Edwards’ fabulous new holiday set for Technique Tuesday. Then I chose the ribbon that coordinated with the Stampin’ Up! ink that I had stamped with for a cohesive, festive look that is elegant and slightly untraditional.
I still have a bit of this background paper left. I wonder what third variation I can come up with on this design? Maybe a valentine’s day design? Hmm…. ![]()
